OFSTED

Our academy rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted again

We are thrilled to announce that Ofsted has rated Harris Primary Academy Kent House “outstanding” again, following our recent inspection in May 2022.  This is our second “outstanding” judgement and means we have had the top rating for the past six years.

In their report, inspectors said:

“Pupils thrive in this happy, purposeful learning environment.”

“All staff expect every pupil to achieve highly, including the most disadvantaged. Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) achieve exceptionally well.”

“Every pupil learns to read with an expert.”

“In all classes, without exception, pupils are engaged, motivated, and encouraged to do well.”

“Staff feel supported with their workload. They acknowledge that collaboration with the (Harris) Federation helps them with planning and professional development.”

This Ofsted judgement reflects the happy, caring and very successful community at Harris Primary Academy Kent House. We are particularly proud of our pupils, who are the stars of our Ofsted report, with inspectors bowled over by their great behaviour and excellent attitudes to their learning. A big thank you to all staff, parents and governors for your tremendous support and backing!
